:

Maxmedics offers a number of general services to students, which include:

  • Offering Guidance and Assistance to students about which university to study at and which course to follow, in the UK.
  • Assisting students with their applications to Universities in UK
  • Assisting the student to get their UK student visa for the UK course they have applied for.
  • Carrying out various checks regarding student's qualifications etc on the UK University's behalf.

Maxmedics offers the above 4 services "free of charge" to students who register with them.

The decision of Maxmedics whether to accept a student registration to use their services is at their discretion only - and no reason needs to be given in refusing a student's registration to use the company's services.

Maxmedics can also provide additional services to students on their written request for which they will be charged a fee. These services include:

  • Arranging airport transfers at UK airports.
  • Arranging accommodation in the UK.

Maxmedics although very experienced in assisting overseas students who wish to study at higher education level in the UK does not guarantee that:

  • a) Students will be offered a suitable place to study in the UK. The student understands that the final decision to offer a student a place rests with the UK academic institution themselves and not Maxmedics.
  • b) Students will obtain the necessary student visa. The student understands that the final decision to offer a student a visa for the UK rests with the UK Home Office - Immigration Service and not Maxmedics.

Maxmedics strongly recommends that:

  • i) When students apply for a particular course or subject at an academic institution in the UK with the advice and assistance of Maxmedics, they also conduct sufficient research and make enquiries of their own to ensure that they are familiar with the outline of their chosen course or subject and its content. Maxmedics accepts no liability for any subsequent objections raised by the students regarding course structure and content.
  • ii) Students understand that should they wish to change to a different course or subject within a specific academic institution while studying in the UK, that permission to do so will be at the discretion of the specific institution and not Maxmedics. The UK institution may also charge a cost for that change of course or ask for full payment of the new course fees without reimbursement of any fees already paid as they decide on such matters according to their own terms and conditions for students.
  • iii) The student understands and accepts that UK academic institutions have their own terms and conditions (regulations) about matters such as attendance of classes, codes of conduct, continued assessment, student progress in the course etc.
  • iv) Students understand that different UK institutions have different polices as to what is included in their tuition fees. For example, at some institutions text books and other materials for the course are included in the fees and at other institutions they are not. The student is advised to satisfy themselves on these matters in advance of accepting a place to study at any institution.
  • v) Students understand that if they attempt to enroll at a UK institution by providing forged academic certificates or other documents, no refund of the academic institution's tuition fees will be made should this misdemeanor come to light.
  • vi) Students be aware that academic institutions in the UK are obliged to inform the UK Home Office (immigration service) if the student either does not arrive to commence their course or leaves the course for any reason. This may well result in the student visa for the UK being cancelled. Refunds of remitted tuition fee may note be given back and Maxmedics do not have any responsibility in the same.

Other Items

  • a) Students must provide original copies of their academic certificates as requested for inspection by Maxmedics staff or their associated staff at international offices.
  • b) All Student personal details are kept private according to our privacy policy. However, Maxmedics will need to seek various permissions to disclose information to UK academic institutions and other authorities when necessary.
  • c) On commencement of their academic course of study in the UK the student should supply Maxmedics UK office with the details of their UK address, telephone numbers, emails etc. This will be to the student's advantage if Maxmedics needs to contact the student on any matter.
  • d) In the event of extraordinary circumstances, such as political or social unrest and strikes etc, which cause disruption to or cancellation of teaching schedules, the student understands that these problems are not the fault of Maxmedics and Maxmedics is not liable.
  • e) For students who need to extend their visas in the UK or need other changes, and who wish Maxmedics to assist them in these matter, the Maxmedics office in the UK can assist. However, a fee will be payable and the terms and conditions of this document will still apply.
  • F) All Maxmedics services are only guidelines and suggestions. All decisions will be of the individual student and maxmedics will not be responsible for any after effects.
